Anyone make their own snare drums or know someone who does and would be happy to answer a few questions for me?

So I'm doing year 12 in South Australia and one of my compulsory subjects is Research Project. For my project I'm research snare drum building. I have to do an interview as part of my research, so if anyone is interested and willing to help me out that would be great!
