Rewatching the 1st season when I noticed... [Season 3 Spoilers]

When Merle is trapped on the roof, and the walkers try to get through the door, Merle says something along the lines of "Papa, I ain't ever begged before and I ain't gonna start now!" This immediately made me think of S3E15 (?? IDK When Merle tries to kill the Governor...and fails), when The Governor is about to shoot Merle, Merle says "I ain't gonna beg" I just think it's awesome that the writers would allude back to that and keep a saying like that stuck to his character (I said that horribly but you get the idea).
