Is "Lady" Lady Rainicorn's title or name?

Just sort of occurred to me. Her parents just have normal names and don't seem to be any sort of gentry. Is Lady just her name? Or is it a title she got somehow other than from inheriting it like Princess Bubblegum giving it to her?
