Boys, feelings, and insecurities. Help?

I'm not really sure where to post this but I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I'm 20 and am in likes with someone I've never met (friend of a friend). We've been talking for two months and he's decided it's time we've met. I agree, I think it'll be an amazing time but I can't get over my insecurities about my body and because of this I keep pushing our meeting further and further away. I'm on the heavier end of the spectrum; my measurements are 38-28-39 and I'm 5"2. I've been a thick girl all my life and have come to terms with that. I keep active by playing rugby among other sports but the tiniest I've ever been was 36.

I'm tired of hating my body. I could really use some advice on how to start loving myself but also letting others appreciate my body too.

tldr; I like a boy but I am too embarrassed about my body to meet him. How do I start over coming this?

Edit: Thanks for your kind words. I spoke to him about my insecurities and he had no idea I felt this way. He showed me pictures of his ex's; some where bigger, some where smaller. We've skyped a lot, almost every night, for two months so I don't know why I thought my body would be an issue, after all he's seen it lots. Over all, I feel much better after having this conversation with him. He's coming in ten days to visit, I'm super nervous but also excited.
