Record Players at places like Target and Wal Mart?

Hi r/vinyl, I have quite a good vinyl collection (and it's still growing), but my roommates record player (which we always use for listening to vinyls),has ceased working, and since I'll be moving out soon anyways, so I want to look into getting a record player. I was curious if the record players at places like Wal Mart or Target are any good? They look like they could be cheap...and can they connect to an old school receiver? Just want some opinions from some fellow vinyl fanatics, thanks :D
