So about boiling my grinder in milk...

I am dry and would love to try this. It has been ages since I cleaned my grinder. Problem is I have one roommate who, while he doesn't have a problem with me smoking, he doesn't like the smell. Will boiling my grinder in milk stink up the kitchen?
