Charting library suited for larger time series?
I'm drawing anywhere from 5-10 time series that have approximately 9000 points each (so let's say 90,000 data points). I realize this is by no means 'big' in the conventional sense but I'm hitting performance limits.
Currently using nvd3.js and the browser is starting to struggle at times.
I am updating the chart every 10 seconds, and there are about 5 other (albeit smaller) charts being drawn on the page.
I am guessing the strain is more related to the size of the DOM (since d3.js uses SVG).
Anybody successfully used a charting library to draw data this size? I've already run what filters/smoothing on the data as much as is allowable, so now I need to make the browser play nice.
I'm looking at canvas-based options, but the options so far seem limited.
Any ideas?
