Bipolar Ex Does Not Want to Talk

So a few days ago the ex broke it off with me. Saying she needs space and time alone. She doesnt want to talk to me at all. She said shes not trying to hurt me, but its something that needs to be done. Things were going great between us during our entire 1 year relationship. I dont understand why she wants to sit around all day and write down her thoughts and have no contact with me. She can go visit a friend and her baby but not even speak to me.

My therapist says that its because im actually important to her so she is pushing me away because people with bipolar issues and borderline personality disorder have this feeling of abandonment and she doesnt think I would want her at her worst point.

I dont know what to think. I want to talk to her, but she gets irritated if I do. I gave her the house key back late last night and she was shaky and manic as hell.

Im lost.
