Restoring NANDroid Backup to New Phone

Some background... I currently have a CDMA Galaxy Nexus and I've been having persistent problems with abysmally slow data speeds even while sitting next to a user from the same carrier experiencing average speeds. A new SIM card had no effect on the problem, so my carrier is sending me a warranty replacement in hopes it will alleviate the problem. I've tweaked and fiddled with things for hours getting my phone set up the way I'd like and would go insane if I had to do all these changes manually every time I wiped and installed a new ROM.

The question... Can I save a NANDroid backup from my old Galaxy Nexus to my PC, adb TWRP onto my new GNex, and restore the old backup without running into any problems? I would assume things would be identical, but I know there are minor hardware differences between models and am not sure if a NANDroid contains hardware addresses or unit specific calibrations.
