Should I learn vim/emacs for programming competitions?

I'm currently practicing for programming competitions like ICPC which are about problem solving with programming. I am using only a text editor for programming, and speed is somewhat important in this type of competitions, so should I learn to use an editor like vim or emacs to increase my programming speed? The allowed editors in the competition are: vi/vim gvim emacs gedit

If so, which one would help me with speed more and which one is easier to learn?

edit: I use c++ btw.
