What factors make a firm an attractive acquisition?

I have to find a company that looks attractive for an acquisition within the next year or few years for my university assignment. Some factors I know are low leverage (a low debt burden makes acquiring it cheaper), relations with the target firm, synergy benefits. What else could there be that makes a firm an attractive acquisition?
