What was this? Help ID-ing a drug

A friend of mine offered me a concoction that would be comparable to rolling on MDMA. He told me his buddy had grown an ephedra sinica plant, I don't remember any extraction process but there was no plant material left in the product.

I distinctly remember him telling me there also was a chemical that is in chocolate. I'm pretty sure that chemical is phenethylamine because when he tried pronouncing it he had difficulty, it could possibly have been anandamide though. A single dose was enough to fill a dime bag, was clearish white; there was also 2 different distinct consistencies, a powder about the grain of table salt and a chunky glass like material slightly larger than the powder. He instructed me to eat it. He recommended I smoke cannabis for it to be effective, he told me there is a synergistic interaction with THC.

I bought 2 packets, 5 dollars each. First experience, I ate it with a sobe as recommended, and smoked a bowl. I haven't been that high since, it was quite more powerful than weed alone. I was on cloud 9 and giggling, it felt like i was walking on the moon each time I stepped. I felt energized and very relaxed, zero anxiety or paranoia, overall the most euphoria I've had on anything, and I don't remember anything else from that day.

A couple days later I decided to try it again, sadly I had no weed to smoke and I never had the euphoria. That time I just remember the awful taste of the concoction, I decided to pour it into a sobe and it ruined the tasted, I almost puked, it had a general chemically, medicine taste. Anyway this is something I've been curious about for 3 years, so forgive me I may have forgotten some things that would have helped. I'd love to know what this was, I'm fairly confident it was PEA and ephedrine but I don't know the ratio or if it is possible that mixture could have the effects it did. Any help is appreciated.
