Need help finding a comic con.

Me and my sister wanted to cosplay at a comic con that has a homestuck panel. I just don't know where to find one. I prefer it be in the summer and somewhere close to either Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago area. Please help I'm new to comic cons!
