This has quickly become my favourite saga I've ever read. These books have some of the most mind-bending applications of scientific concepts. Many of them being terrifying given their plausibility irl.

The first book felt a bit slow until the third act (It was intriguing nonetheless) mainly because the 1st book acts as a prelude to the events in the later books. >!But the revelation of how the Trisolarans created the Sophons and the destruction of a microverse in the process truly gave an idea of the conceptual depth this series was going to go. !<

The Dark Forest is the best book in trilogy imo.>! Everything from The Dark Forest theory to the droplet attack to the battle in darkness was just perfect. It also had the best character arcs in the trilogy in terms of Lou Ji and Zhang Behai. !<

Death's End is the densest book of the three with such an amazing ending to the trilogy. >!It was surprisingly optimistic compared to the grim nature of the trilogy. I also respected the choice of having the protagonist fail not once but twice in saving the human race while also making her sympathetic. Lastly, this book introduced the most terrifying weapon in the story in the form of dimensional collapsing weapon aka Dual-Vector Foil. However, the destruction of Solar System was morbidly beautiful. !<

I'd love to hear you guys' perspective on this.
