CH258 Spoiler thoughts
Just some random thoughts regarding the spoilers
- The kanji for the missing top part of the page after Sukuna uses "pseudo-shrine" is specifically Gojo's Unlimited Void. Specifically, the last 2 Kanji is shown, so the context for that blurb is probably that it ruined Sukuna's MS, thus leading to this deformed state. This is kind of wild if UV does more than general brain damage, like it directly attacks your Domain/Cursed Technique area of your brain.
- Along those lines, it's very interesting that the hand sign for pseudo-shrine is the same as Gojo's. The same hands even.
- I don't really think Gojo is coming back, but if nothing else this chapter arguably is the best case for it. It could just be extra detail, but choosing to mention that Gojo specifically rebuilt his RCT "manually" by putting the load on his brain is interesting. Perhaps he's turned it to a toggle, much like he did with Infinity, thus even while bisected by WCS, he's still healing?
- Ui Ui might have unironically saved Gojo if we follow the above logic. There's a non-zero percent chance that Ui Ui teleported Gojo's body out, to either swap his soul into someone else temporarily while Shoko heals his body, or someone is dying in Gojo's place, by being swapped into the bisected body. Theoretically, this could be Shoko herself (Femjo?), but of course without Six eyes (unless they transplant?) Gojo's MUCH weaker now. They could also theoretically just shove Gojo into one of Mei Mei's crows.
- Yuji using Simple Domain does not specifically mean he has no Domain. I don't know if he does have one, but we've seen with Gojo and Yuki that SD you can, in fact, have bow SD and your own. Simple Domain's theory also lends itself to this. Domain expansion in its truest sense is your own inner world being constructed, and a SD is not such a thing.
- Choso is the ultimate brother. The strongest brother in all of anime (he full clears any other big brother, no questions)
- Choso is almost certainly going to die.
- I might be tripping, but Sukuna lost his bottom eye on his "mask"? Guy's really taken damage through this gauntlet. I'm really curious as to what's under that.
- It could just be Blood Manipulation, but having specifically BM and "Neo Shrine (sciscor lines)" does not specifically give Yuji those arms. They're still unexplained as far as I'm aware.
- Looking at it closely now, that deformed thing behind Sukuna after using pseudo-shrine might be Tengen. I have nothing off the fact that directly behind Sukuna is a mouth, and 4 observable eyes on each side of big central eye. Also, no nose.
- The big eye above it and the section above that also looks like the original shrine. It's as if the eyeball is being thrown up out of the "shrine mouth". Those look like teeth on the top and bottom of big eye.
- I swear, this new "Domain symbol" for MS has hands. There is a non-zero percent chance that Sukuna can use it to make Enmaten or other hand signs to cast abilities he would need 4 for. Domains are extensions of yourself, so this could theoretically work. It also is in a similar position to Kenjaku's domain sign, but not exactly it (don't think anything will come of this similarity).
- Also, if you look at the overall composition of the page, Sukuna's pseudo-shrine looks like a human skull with a spinal column (you can see this spinal-cord like shape in the dark shadow under it).
