Possible Defect

Hi,

I'm posting to ask if anyone has had an experience similar to mine, or if my product is most likely defective. I purchased a 32 oz FreeSip recently and I'm having issues with it leaking. One of my Owala's, the one in question, I use only for hot coffee. Whenever I use this bottle, there is significant leaking/spillage as soon as I open the cap, like it pours down all sides of the bottle. I do not overfill the bottle, in fact, I leave above a 1/2 inch to 1 full inch unfilled because of this problem. I'm not throwing the bottle around and shaking it like crazy or something, however, the bottle does travel with me, either in cupholders in my car or in side pockets on my backpack. A water bottle is meant to be taken around, so it's not an unreasonable level of movement for it. Still, even when I try my best to keep the bottle fairly still, I still get this problem.

I have another Owala (same exact bottle, and purchased at the same time) that I do not have this problem with. I included that I fill the possibly defective bottle only with hot coffee, because I'm wondering if the heat s-is causing pressure to build up or something and that's the issue? I fill my other Owala only with cold water and I haven't had the problem with that bottle.
