New To College, Where Do I Begin?

Hey y'all! I'm finally wanting to go to college (im 24). Only this whole thing seems incredibly daunting. I like hands on jobs so I'm wanting to do something in the health sciences fields (Leaning towards Dental Hygiene but i work full time and cant afford to quit my job to focus solely on school) But I've done some research on career paths and I feel i would also enjoy Sonography or Radiology which appears to have more manageable schooling.

What is a standard way of getting started on all of this?
