I see why first year teachers quit

When I was getting my degree, and leading up to teaching I was a nanny and student teacher. I LOVED it. I never understood why someone would quit their first year in. But now, being an actual first year teacher I see why. I’m counting down the minutes until June and I’m praying the summer break will refresh me. Also, I teach young ages. It’s not even the kids, it’s the lack of support from admin and parents.I feel so alone in this. The only support I feel is from coworkers and my teacher friends and honestly, they all feel just as defeated.
