The Most Nerve-Racking Experience of My Life on Mattel Creations

I just need to let this out since a few minutes ago, I just had the scare of my life.

So, I love the Addams Family, and I am so excited to buy them this Thursday and Friday. However, something in the back of my mind said test out your buying process.

Coincidently, a Cruella De Vil doll was being released today (found out it was pre-order later than I thought but that's besides the point). I was going to buy the doll and practice a simulation for the possible bloodbath on Thursday and Friday. Always good to prepare.

So, I pressed the buy/pre-order button to begin the buying process. My screen automatically went to the shopify express option (after lookin in my cart and the captcha) and press the pay now button, only to get an error that I can't use my card. Which is wrong, since my card is well away from its expiration date and I used it two months back to pre-order Jinafire with the shopify express pay.

So, I'm panicking (still thinking this is drop). I won't be able to get my doll. What the ef. Then, I pressed pay as a guest, and it took me to the Mattel Creations check out with the other options to of express checkout (google pay and paypal, along with that shopify button). I quickly press google play instead. It fills out my info, and I finally buy the doll. I got a notification of my money being withdrawn before I got the Mattel Creations checkout email confirmation.

I should be happy, but I wasn't. The voice in the back of my head told me to do a practice purchase again, to make sure everything goes well for Thursday and Friday. I do that, and I still come up with an error (on the Mattel Creations checkout screen, don't know what I did to stop Shopify express pay to come up). I have to do another round of mental gymnastics to fix that supposed error (had to press the change shipping address and then it takes me to express checkout, even though all the my information has not changed). I still stop before the last step for google pay (so the transaction doesn't come through), but this is getting ridiculous.

I did it a third time since I am a glutton for punishment, and the checkout screen changes each time. So, all I have for the Addams Family drop is a prayer and hope that I can get these dolls. Since the Mattel Creations site does not want to work with me.

I just really want these dolls. Does anyone have any advice?
