Prevalence of pseudo-scientific approaches in our community?
Is anyone else really annoyed by both conventional medicine AND the so-called "Big Pharma/doctors are evil!" approaches some people have? It's hard being in the sane middle. And the ridiculous hypotheses like, "Fukushima caused my illness!" (despite not being close anywhere close to Japan OR being a young child). Anyway. Just had to vent. I know that a lot of people are frustrated, but so many get carried away by anecdotal evidence and just downright harmful approaches to dealing with or understanding their disease. Thoughts?
