What would you all recommend for lining up beard?

Hey all! Been lurking for a bit and finally ready to make a move. I’ve been lining up my beard with my electric trimmer for awhile now and I’m looking to get into something better that’ll give more defined lines (my electric trimmer definitely doesn’t shave close enough).

Looking for a shavette or safety razor I can use to line up my cheeks and neckline as well as any accessories you would recommend (brush, lather/soap, aftershave, etc.). I watched some YouTube videos and some seemed to suggest using a shaving cream first to remove of the hair below the neckline and outside the cheek line and then switching to a clear preshave balm/gel to get the line where I want it (it’s clear so it’s easier to see where you’re shaving). One specific video recommend KENT OF INGLEWOOD PRESHAVE GEL.

Budget isn’t too much of an issue but less than $200 upfront would be ideal.

Any suggestions for specific products or where to start reading about what all I’ll need?
