How seriously to take "dry start" issue with 3.6 Pentastar?

On one hand, it's a real easy oil change. On the other hand, the filter sticks up in the air and drains out if the car sits a couple days. And I don't drive it every day.

Maybe I've been watching too much YouTube but it's got me worried. Should I buy one of those Baxter adapters to keep some oil in the filter?
