Girl Keeps Making Excuses (or am I an overthinker)

Wanted to get this subs thoughts on this situation. Went out on a couple dates with this girl. She then went on a vacation. We texted a bit - and as time went out - it seemed she was getting less and less interested ( and also NEVER initiating). I didnt want to seem bother her so stopped texting.

When she got back in town - we had plans to go out again - but she just cancelled due to "not feeling well". I want to believe her - but also just feel this is a classic excuse of someone who doesnt want to "hurt another person feelings".

Is there even a point of putting any more effort/mental capacity - or should I just assume its OVA
