Does selling car void insurance claim?

As title says,

Someone hit my car 2 weeks ago, left a dent, I filed against his insurance and thought it would be quick. He hasn't answered any calls from his insurance so it's taking longer but anyway, I want to sell my car due to other reasons, would selling it void my claim against him since it would change hands?
