Safe nesting materials?

I'm looking to put out nesting materials for my hummingbirds but want to make sure it's safe (non-toxic, not bleached, no long fibers that could get strangle them or other small animals, something they can't inhale, etc.). Would something like this work? I also see listings for alpaca fleece. If anyone has suggestions that fit what I'm looking for, let me know.
