my possible duet partner might hate me 🥶

Not even being dramatic. Hate might be a strong word but anyways… this girl has been passive aggressive towards be quite a bit. In acrobatics when I get a new skill she’s passive aggressive. When the teacher had me show one of our group dances by myself she was all passive aggressive gressive to my face and then I guess behind my back she called me a teachers pet ? 😭 Now recently a month before nationals I’m put into a duet with her because her original partner can’t be there and she said that “I hate that Ms ___ is making me do the duet with her.” And I can understand where she’s coming from but I don’t think she said it in a frustrated way I think she meant it in an I don’t like you way. I don’t want bad blood or anything but yeah I don’t think she likes me 😭 I’ve had people say it’s because she was the favorite and now I might be or there’s stuff I can do that she can’t but that’s a dumb reason to dislike someone though , no ? It’s just awkward to be around now and yeah I wanna do the duet but it’s just off now.
