What is the best and most efficient order to relearn math for a computer science degree?
Its been years since I've really taken a math course, I plan on going to WGU and get my bachelors in computer science but I need to at the very least take pre calc, the highest Math I've taken is Geometry probably 7-8 years ago. I am taking Khan academy's prepare for pre calc course right now, I'm at the end of the first unit but as we get into quadratic equations I realize that there are major gaps in my math, so im not sure if I should just tough it out or go back to the basics delaying my life even more. Like I said, its been years and I failed most math in middle school/highschool anyway since I didn't care about school.
For this degree I will need 3 math courses, Calc 1, Discrete Math 1 and Discrete Math 2. What is the most efficient path to get here? I'm 23 and very behind in life so I'll be honest, its a bit demoralizing just how far behind I am and how much effort and discipline it will take to get out of this hole I've dug myself into.
