How Unwise Would Buying This VW Golf GTI Be?

2017 VW Golf GTI Autobahn w/ Dynamic Chassis Control @ 40k miles for $20k. Clean CARFAX, new brakes. The real issue is I don't need a car, this would be a quality of life change. I drive a 2021 VW Jetta R-line @ 60k miles; the payoff quote and trade-in value are close to the same. I could put $10k down, 48 months at 4.99%. It feels stupid to buy a car when my car drives fine, but I think I'd really enjoy the GTI on my 1-hour commute. The Jetta is a great car but it doesn't have the fun factor, and I regret not getting something more fun every time I step in it.
