The Illegal Kitchen

Hello McGillians, I have an idea to run by you guys.

Food prices are insanely high across the board and selling food on campus requires a license (expensive). My solution? The title. For select few days of the week through a website, students will be able to reserve spots as clientele for a specific day at a specific time. On said day, the location (on campus because ain't nobody got time to commute) of The Illegal Kitchen will be sent to those who successfully reserved. You show up to this location and are met with delicious, high quality, yet affordable ($7 or less - no taxes because well, illegal) food. Think what Warehouse was but on wheels; French toast PB and J (banana jam, vanilla fig jam), mini spaghetti and meatball nests, sweet potato quesadillas, etc.

So what do we think. Help me cook this up so I can feed you peeps.

FAQ

What's my credibility? Some might remember the great samosa drought in pre-covid times. I was known as the Mose runner, delivering delicious samosas to hungry students anywhere and everywhere on campus under the noses of the government and McGill. If I could do that, I can do this.

Why would I do this? Because I live for the adrenaline rush of watching McGill students experience some serious out-of-pocket things that seem to good to be true.

What are my margins? I don't give a martlet's backside about money. As long as it can sustain itself, I'm good.

Can I contribute to this operation? No. That would be illegal. However, what consenting adults choose to do in their free time is none of my business, as this is not a business.

Aren't I afraid of being caught? JFK once said that we choose to do these things in this decade not because they are easy but because they are hard. MLK once said he had a dream and so do I. They don't know who I am. They don't know where I am and they'll never see me cooking.
