Problems sending text messages to android users

Hi everyone, I just got my SIM mailed to me this morning and just activated my service. I wanted to text everyone my new number, and was able to text everyone with an iPhone, but received an error message saying “Text messaging service has been denied” when I attempted to text an android.

I have searched for answers online and have attempted many different solutions such as: turning off iMessage and restarting my phone, ensuring “Send as SMS” and “MMS Messaging” is on, made sure cellular data is on and that roaming is off. I was wondering if anyone had a solution? Thanks in advance!
