Landlord put social # on lease emailed to new roommate

I’ve lived in this same apartment for close to 2 years and my landlord just shared back the next lease with both mine and my new roommate’s FULL social security numbers written out on it next to our names. I’m going to ask them to remove it, or at least narrow it down to the last 4 digits, but I find it to be wildly inappropriate to just have that info typed out on a PDF of a lease I’m signing with someone I would not be comfortable sharing my social with (i.e., this new roommate I just met). It’s not on a secure platform like docusign, either, so would be so easy to find if — god forbid — one of our emails was accessed. Just weird, mostly a rant, want justification on feeling like that’s an odd move by a landlord.
