Unique laughs are a representation of inherited will

Since the start of one piece the unusual laughs of one piece have just been thought of as another goofy quirk that make one piece what it is. But what if there was more to it than that ? Plenty of reveals have been a complete suprise because the hints have been hidden by how weird the one piece world is. A recent example being the reveal that Kuma isn't a human but a buccaneer. The fact he isn't human was completly hidden by Odas character design choices he's made for many other characters who are human.

I predict when we get a flash back of joyboy he'll have the exact same laugh as Luffy. I also predict the same for Xebec and blackbeard.

A counter point to this is "well what is the inherited will for irrelevant characters like Hogback, who have a unique laugh ?"

My answer to that is not every inherited will has to have come major force behind it like joyboy or Xebec. Down forget devil fruits came from peoples desire and dreams. Some are incredibly powerful and let you turn into Magma or a phoenix. While other make you an Jacket for someone else to wear.

I think the difference between will being passed on after a characters death and a devil fruit respawning after the user dies. Is that will may not be pass on the anyone for a while. Luffy could be the first person to have that will since Joyboy passed. His will staying dormant for hundreds of years.
