Is doing AP Calc BC in Junior more beneficial for college admission than in Senior yr ?

Currently a freshman and to do AP Calc BC in Junior yr before college admissions, I would have to take Geometry in the summer (precalc in sophomore and Ap calc BC in junior). Question: I am trying to decide if it would be worth my 6-8 weeks of my summer to spend doing Geometry vs other camps/activities. I am interested in pursuing engineering in college - Do colleges just look for/prefer AP course completion and particularly AP Calc BC ?
