Do you get signed by Real Madrid or Barca?

Chose my player to be of Turkey 🇹🇷. I've played upto season 7 and was given choice to go with Munich or Dortmund. I'm wondering if my player ever signs for Real Madrid? Or do I have to select my player to be of Spanish origin?
