Games where you have a found family/companions, like Mass Effect, RDR2?

My two favorite games, realized one of the reasons I like them are the companions, family aspect. Don't like horror/zombies or dark games in general.. Don't play a ton of games and trying to find another like these is overwhelming. Thinking maybe Fallout 4 but a little too dark I think. Really love a great story as you can probably tell.

Any ideas?

Edit: I also like games with crafting. Crafting/hunting is one of my favorite things about RDR2

Edit 2: Forgot to mention I'm not a huge fan of Fantasy. I know that probably narrows it down quite a bit, hence the challenge. However I may give Baldurs gate a try as it's been recommended so many times. I also prefer a voiced protagonist, which I understand BG is not
