Went on a date after 7 months and she made me miss my ex

Well like the title says its been 7 months decided to try dating again and every thing was going great until we met up for our first date. She went on a bit of a trauma dump (obvious red flag not going any further with that) and it left me really missing my ex. I know I shouldn't she was supper emotionally abusive at the end and then dumped me for the dude she told me not to worry about. But God the desire to reach back out to her now is so strong.

When things were good they were so great. It was so easy to maintain my own inner peace with her when she was around. It was nothing like the fight I gotta do with myself these days to maintain the same peace. She was just amazing. And I know that's not the woman I lost but fuck I miss her.

I just need some support today to not reach out to her and reopen the wound even more.
