Inlove with a fictional character. Normal?

When I was 10 I fell inlove with a cartoon character (adult), I still remember having many merchandise of him and watching episodes every night. As I grew older I got over it around the age 16-18. Few years later I got married (divorced now) and had a child who is currently 5.

Two months ago I found a movie of the show on Netflix and watched it, i thought it would be funny bringing back memories of how I had a crush on this character for years but now I’m feeling this way again, now that I’m 28 I’m inlove again, nothing has changed about I feel about him and started buying few merchandise like accessories, phone cover, plushies etc. It’s not that I’m gonna stop dating over this but it feels so much better than going through drama and being upset by someone. What’s weird about this is that it’s about the same character
