AITAH for being friends with someone whose family is racist (they are not)

For context, I'm White and queer. My partner is Black.

Someone in queer community tried to "cancel" me because I have a white friend who has racist family members who use slurs against Black people. My friend does not use any slurs and is in no way openly racist (but knows we all are to some extend because this country is racist).

My friend has had frequent heated arguments with their family over their racism and barely talks to them anymore because they "won't change," according to my friend.

My partner, who is Black, is fine with me being friends with this person.

But we told another interracial (black/white) couple about this and they "canceled" me. They said I do not deserve to go into any queer community spaces because due to my friend's family, and me continuing to be friends with this person, that makes me "anti-Black," and unsafe.

AITAH? Seeking especially responses from queer-identified and/or Black people.
