Am I doing enough + life wonders

Hi (it will be long)

I'm a 20yo girl, quite muscular already, always been an active kid and Ive been training regularly for about 6 years (moving everyday and, at first, 1h of boxing per week). Always loved food. Never overweight but never extra lean either, like, middle strong girl. I've been doing English boxing, 1'20 hour 3 times a week since this year with the desire to improve myself technically + overall health. Recently I had this thought : I want to see if I can sculpt my body to look more lean and athletic. I'm good with how I look right now but i got this new goal in mind (certainly from animes and gym/calisthenics videos).

Family taught us to eat and cook healthy so I had a fairly good foundation in terms of nutrition (integrate veggies, not too sweet/salty/fat too often, I don't eat in fast foods) I started tracking my intakes to be in a deficit 'cause I was certainly eating a bit too much some days; no drastic changes, starvation is forbidden at home. But started watching. Started to take more proteins and drink more. Also tried to sleep more.

BUT I'm not sure about how much I should intake (the "counting calories" apps and websites are sometimes shady and their settings seem approximate). Just so you can make yourself an idea of where I'm starting from : I'm 1,60m for ≈60kg, normal physique with strong thighs and the pouchie on the belly, obliques are visible on a good day and upper body is fairly toned.

1- Is my current lifestyle considered active enough to achieve my goal? The goal, visually, being : leaner tummy (why not visible abs I'd enjoy that), leaner arms (so I can see them muscles dammit). Overall a leaner and more athletic aspect. I specified so that you can visualise the goal and maybe apprehend the amount of effort I should put in it +I do not want to rush it for summer holidays necessarily, I'm ok with it taking weeks, months...

2- Is this goal achievable for me? I believe it is, but I don't have visibility, in terms of time and volume of training.

  • I find athletic women physiques great but my feed is essentially filled with boys, who I know don't turn out exactly the same even with the same training. -> Am I being delulu or is this motivation valid? (Some of y'all are ripped)

3- Is it worth it? Again I'd be proud of myself, but is it that hard to maintain this physique? It's been 3 months since I started focusing on my diet more. Did not see huge changes. Sometimes I crave food (human stuff yk) and I know I shouldn't, but I can't help to feel guilty when I finish my mother's plate of pesto pastas (pesto is so good man). Should I keep going and being satisfied or should I work out more? Should I even try even if deep down I'd do it for the other people's eyes?

Thank you a lot for reading this. Have a good day/night 💪
