What do you like to plant in June? - Direct Seed and Transplants

Hello! I'm very excited because I just received access to a community garden plot. However, I know that it's a bit late in the planting season. I am also brand new to the PNW and not familiar with this growing zone. I was wondering if you could share what your favorite things to plant in early-mid June are, and whether you direct seed or transplant these? I've done a good bit of research, but would really love to hear your local experience. Thank you in advance!

I plan on purchasing starts and seeds and planting this weekend.
