How awful are Suntour Raidon rear shocks?

Suspension

The back story is that I’ve had a 15+ year old 29er Gary Fisher frame sitting around for a few years that I thought I’d put back together as a spare bike for when friends come over etc. I have most of the parts I need to get it functional from my parts bin but the rear shock is done and needs to be replaced.

The bike is old, the geometry is old, and I don’t want to spend a lot of money on this project when it’s probably only going to get ridden once in awhile. I’ve seen these Suntour Raidon air shocks getting sold pretty cheap. Does anyone here have experience riding one of these? Are they complete garbage or is it a passable air shock?

Thanks for any info.
