New player, is this game like super short?

So I just started playing Xcom2 WOTC for the first time, really liking it.

But I'm only about 3 hours in, and I accidentally skipping a cutscene so I went to youtube to watch it.

Apparently I'm halfway through all the cutscenes? Am I halfway through the game at this point?
