Truce Tower

So I'm a first time player in the early middle ages and thanks to a helpful neighbor, I donated to a top player in my neighborhood and earned the blue prints for a truce tower. (Don't worry, they weren't doing a 1.9)
I am now almost done with the full blueprint for that thing, but my problem is that I don't have any of the goods that I need to build the darn thing. So my question is this, is there any way to get those goods without advancing to the era of Tomorrow? I know it's not a necessity to get that building, but I think the supplies and aid goods bonus would be really helpful to me.

Also sidenote after reading the rules. Idk if this question relates to the world I'm in or not, but I'm in Arvahall and I think the server is US1
