June 2024: Should I Wait for the reMarkable 3 or Buy the reMarkable 2 Now?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in a dilemma and could really use some advice of this community, as i'm coming from Ipad and i'm not at home in the e-ink market... I'm considering purchasing a reMarkable 2 for €500, which includes the Pro Pencil and Book Folio. However, I'm aware that the reMarkable 3 might be released soon, and I'm not sure whether to wait or go ahead with the purchase now.

My main concerns are:

1. Is the value for money still good with the reMarkable 2 at this price?
2. Will the introduction of the reMarkable 3 cause a significant price drop for the reMarkable 2 (what did you guys see, in example, with the Remarkable 1 when the 2 came to market)?

I'd appreciate any insights or recommendations from those of you who have experience with the reMarkable devices or are also contemplating the same decision.
