Spider - 4-5cm - Northern Europe (NL)

Found in an electrical cabinet at ground level in an old and slightly damp house. It doesn't like it when I open the door so I didn't get to take pictures of the top of the body.

With my limited knowledge I thought I was looking at a noble false widow (Steatoda nobilis) but as they have only recently been spotted here in the Netherlands I think it is unlikely to be one.
