Bangkok/Pattaya Solo

Hi, im going to Bangkok and Pattaya for 6 days each , was originally going to go with a friend but because of medical reasons he is not going to join me. Can you guys give me any tips to be safe on solo travel? Have never travelled solo, being a guy with severe social anxiety I am shit scared and overthinking. I am staying at a hostel for 9 days and 3 days at a Airbnb Any tips/help is welcome!
