Kidney Pain how to manage?

Hi all,

about 14 days ago i went to hospital with extreme kidney pain, after taking some painkillers and waiting 6 hours and the pain calming down, I was told it would be another couple hours wait so i decided to go home. I got a scan the next day and i have 6mm stone. No pain for a couple 14 days and then boom back where I was. My doctor is getting another scan on Monday, but thats 4 days away how do I manage the pain? anything I can do to pass it faster?
