I want to be Christian, but cannot publicly express it in my life time. What do I do?

Ok so, this is a bit of a loaded question. But I come from a very religious household (not Christian religion) and my parents would be extremely upset with me if I say I am Christian. All my friends and family and everything about my life is related to my old religion (I just don't believe it anymore, extremely long story). I still don't have a wife, but how bad would it be if I were to marry a woman from my old religion and raise my kids in that old religion but still be Christian at heart? I truly believe Jesus is the way to heaven, but because of my environment, there is no way I will be able to get away with publicly displaying it. I'm not sure what to do and need advice. Would God still grant me salvation if I marry a non christian and probably raise my kids in that older religion? Once I'm older I would definitely tell all of them openly that I am Christian. Especially my kids. But it's a tough dilemma.
