Maxing AP events for free?!?! Here’s how.

Guide to maxing the occasional AP quests… FOR FREE.

They happen every few months. Usually reward a nest skin or a background, about once a year there’s a March skin (yay!) and you can usually complete at least every other one of them without spending a dime!

Costs:

293 Ap items @1500 diamonds each, costs 439,500 diamonds. Seems like a lot, but despite all this game$ drawback$, it does give out quite a few diamonds.

The methods for obtaining the ap items are the same. Buy them with diamonds, or finish the few quests each month that reward them. You can select them as rewards in that beehive mini game with matchsticks for instance. Your goal is 293. Complete quests for diamonds, collect your daily investment diamonds, buy the 800 point diamond box every day in the specialized duel shop. 60k every 3 weeks from Showdown helps a LOT. Farm 8k every conquest. Etc etc.

Next, and this parts important if you’re F2P or just really cheap. DONT WASTE DIAMONDS ON OTHER STUFF. There are very few things worth spending diamonds on. Wetlands, rerolling your larva eggs to at least purples, organ foster plans if you’re close to 300. But don’t waste it on things like teleporting, speeding troops, finishing builds etc etc. SAVE SAVE SAVE.

When to buy? Every other weekend is a diamond event. And it has a chance to double with a breakthrough diamond event on Saturday afternoon. This is the absolute best time to spend. BuT either 1 by itself is fine. The diamond event costs 46,500 diamonds to finish. The breakthrough costs 112500 to finish. Buy nothing but Ap items and you’re well on your way.

There are 2 methods for converting those AP items to actual AP.

The first method is simple. Be VIP 13. That’s it. You can open all 293 in 1 day if you want.

The second method, for anyone VIP 12 or lower, is to open them every single day until you hit your daily limit. And then DONT USE ANY AP. Just keep opening more, and collecting your 3 daily seashells for 30 more AP every day. Do this until you have 35,160 AP. For a lvl 12, you can open 14 a day, so it will take you 21 days to open all 293. VIP 10 can open 11, so it’ll take 27 days. You get the drift. Every 4 days you basically get a free Ap item from daily seashells, so will likely hit 35,160 a day early. Then… just wait, or keep stockpiling towards the next one after. They had 2 back to back only a couple weeks apart last Christmas, so it doesn’t hurt to have extra.
