subject choices

I want to be a forensic psychologist (dream job) but if not it would still be a job to do with psychology or criminal justice the subjects i’ve chosen for a level are -psychology -criminology -english lang but our school aren’t offering english language because they aren’t sure everyone is going to get the right grades for it. personally english lang is my best subject and i get 8s and 9s in it so i will probably have to choose english lit (as much as i don’t want to do it im still quite good at it with a grade 7) basically what im saying is are the subjects ive chosen a good idea or not specially for the career path i want to take and also in general? im also thinking instead of doing english lang/lit i will do sociology but ive heard people saying that psychology and sociology are not things you should do together as it is very hard work
